Prompt
The children are running around inside the house. Barna løper ___. Choose inn or inne.
Answer and explanation
Barna løper inne. The children are running indoors. They’re moving, but inside is the location: use inne.
The difference
Inn: where to? Jeg går inn (I am going inside).
Inne: where? Jeg er inne (I am inside).
Movement alone does not decide it: Barna løper inne (the children are running indoors) uses inne because inside is where they run, not where they are heading.
